Following recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) we are implementing the following enhanced health and safety policies.
Cleaning
We are implementing enhanced cleaning procedures in our location to protect our members and guests. These include;
- Cleaning shared surfaces more regularly,
- Providing hand sanitizer,
- Providing disinfectant for members to use before/after each usage, and
- Increasing the space between members.
- We have also upgraded our ventilation system with all the CDC recommended measures.
Personal Hygiene
Please follow these important guidelines about hygiene:
- Wash your hands frequently and properly. 20 seconds is the minimum recommended amount of washing time to be considered effective. A guide can be found here: www.who.int/gpsc/clean_hands_protection. We have placed timers by the sinks to help users keep track of time.
- Use your arm or sleeve when coughing or sneezing, not your hands, and use hand sanitizer regularly. Wash your hands.
- Please dispose of tissues immediately and properly.
- Refrain from touching your nose or mouth.
- If you have a fever, difficulty breathing, or suspect you may be sick with the Coronavirus, we ask you to check with your healthcare provider. Please stay home until you’ve been cleared and are no longer sick. Let us know, and we will happily pause your membership and credit your account.
Kitchen
- We will be limiting shared kitchen services including ground coffee, refreshments, and snacks.
- For the time being, we will offer single use K-cups in the kitchen. We apologize for any inconvenience this limited service may have.
- We ask you to put any dishes or cups in the dishwasher instead of hand washing them. The dishwasher has a sanitize cycle that is far more effective than regular hand washing.
Social distancing
- We strongly encourage members to keep the recommended safe distance of at least, six feet. If you need to move a table around, or change seats, feel free to do so.
- Avoid handshakes and please forgive others who are doing so.
- We have cancelled internal and external events, gatherings, guest speakers, etc. Of course, your own guests are still welcome to come. However, please make sure they adhere to what is recommended.
- We are also limiting occupancy to what is required by the governor. At the present, we are way below the maximum allowed.
- Given the reduced activity, we will temporarily keep the front doors locked even during business hours. Anyone who needs to get in has an access code. Call us if you have trouble getting in.
Immunization Status
- For the health of our members and their families, including immuno-suppressed individuals, we request that members maintain full vaccination status for Covid.
Facial coverings
- You don't need to wear a mask while working at your desk. Please wear a mask when in public areas. Thank you.
